Our premium all-natural leather conditioners are made from a unique blend of whole pine pitch and pure mink oil, plus beeswax added to the dressing.

Montana Pitch-Blend Leather Care Products contain no silicone or petroleum ingredients. They have no chemical smell, just a fresh, natural pine scent.

Unlike many conditioner manufacturers, we list our ingredients right on the product labels. (Most other leather care products, many of which contain petroleum-based ingredients, silicone and alcohol do not list their ingredients.)

The key to Montana Pitch-Blend's effectiveness, pine pitch has been used for centuries as a waterproofing agent. Pitch has preservative and healing properties and was used ages ago as a first aid remedy, to heal sores and wounds. It has been found be a fungicide and a natural anti-bacterial agent as well.

Pine pitch aids in the preservation of leather and helps to protect it from the elements. Pine pitch also gives Montana Pitch-Blend a high degree of adhesion so it does not easily wear off.

*NOTE: Of vital interest to hunters, especially bowhunters, is the fresh pine scent. Montana Pitch-Blend also acts as an excellent cover scent.

Mink Oil has long been used to condition leather. Leather breaks down through exposure to air, sun, water, dirt, and simply through normal every day use. Without conditioning, leather will dry out and crack, opening the way for further damage and degradation of the leather.

Mink oil, a highly effective natural conditioner, works in easily, replenishes the oils lost through normal wear and tear, restores suppleness and provides excellent resistance to water.

We use 100% pure mink oil. (Many so-called "mink oil" products contain only a small fraction of mink oil. The bulk of some of those products is made up of less expensive, frequently unknown oil which can compromise the quality of the conditioner.)

Leather experts agree that conditioners containing animal oils, including mink oil, are excellent for conditioning leather goods.

Beeswax is an excellent, long-lasting water-repellent treatment and, in combination with our unique blend of mink oil and pine pitch, makes Montana Pitch-Blend Leather Dressing the finest all-natural water-repellent leather conditioner available.

We use only the best natural beeswax and add only enough to convert our oil into a dressing. Montana Pitch-Blend Leather Dressing will not crack off leather and will not clog pores.
